Loud is the bell,
Loud are the chants,
Loud is the calm
On the temple steps

I am here,at your feet
Father!Take me up to You.
Your son is a sinner
That is all he would do.

Dined with devils
Played with evil
All day,
All my life

In pursuit of pleasure
I sold my soul.
Sang hymns of horror
And danced to the Satan's tunes.

Life was meant to be pure
Hardly any of it in me
I made sure.
Grumbled when You showed me the way,
"None should be such a fool".I pray

All my life is gone in vain
Troubled You and given so much pain
Here I sit on the temple steps
Shedding tears of blood

I beg You
Make none like me
I was meant to be an angel
But chose to become an imp.

Show them the way
Show them the truth
Show them God
Show them You!
